Josh Hires is a Bay Area based portrait, wedding, and commercial photographer; Josh graduated from Fresno City College with a degree in Photography in 2003. As a photographer his current activities include: include, attending San Jose State University where he is currently majoring in photography. He also intends to work on many photo related projects such as photo essays about California and the farming industry as well as portraits from the diverse group of California cultures. Josh moved to California from Denver Colorado at the age of 13, during his high school years he became interested in photography while working for his high school yearbook, around this time, he start taking an interest in the many different cultures around California, and the photographic opportunity that they presented. Josh plans to continue to be active in all areas of cultural, as well as many other areas of photography as well as preparing for his BFA show at San Jose State.
